We have the philosophy at Tailtiu Languages and Travel that everyone has something to teach, and also something to learn. We therefore make our own jobs and planning easier by creating a community of teachers with their own toolbox of classroom ideas, methodologies and approaches.

We are now well and truly living in the global village, and teachers across the many nations, continents and cultures of the world can come together in a second to share their knowledge, wisdom and experience to improve and learn together.

Do you ever feel worn out, burnt out or any other mixture of phrasal verbs to describe your workhouse exhaustion?

We write quite a bit about the wellbeing of teachers, students and anyone who spends a large part of their lives in front of computer screens or in classrooms. We know from personal experience that this can be stressful though ultimately, teaching and study are worthwile activities.

We therefore aim to give you a few ideas on how to cope with stress and maybe even a shoulder to cry on!

Materials

We provide e-books on methodology and approaches to teaching, learner styles and activities and materials for the classroom. Also have a look at our twin website http://learningenglish.tailtiu.org for ideas, mini-courses and materials.
